How did you first get into content?
One of my first jobs was Communications Associate, which basically meant I did a little bit of everything in the marketing world. I started as a designer, but I found myself more captivated by the storytelling aspect of design than the graphic aspect. I eventually transitioned into a copywriter role and just never looked back!
Do you have a favorite type of project to work on?
Anything where I can see exactly how I’ll be helping someone. That’s my main goal for every project. That human-first aspect is very important to me, so I always like it when I can make a clear connection between what I do and how it will help people.
What’s your spirit core value?
Definitely Partnership. Keeping other people’s best interests in mind is something I really prioritize. I always consider what the client would think—how would they read and experience this content? What about their audience? Their coworkers? Those questions help me deliver better content to our clients.
I heard you’re a big podcast nerd—what are your favorites?
I love Home Cooking with Samin Nosrat and Hrishikesh Hirway. And obviously Amy Poehler’s podcast, she’s so funny and I enjoy how positive it is.
